Gabrielle Vitiello, MSW, LICSW
I view therapy as collaboration between two people who share a common goal of working toward greater emotional health and growth. With gentleness, humor and clarity I work to offer a safe environment in which to learn about how the mind and emotional world work and how to find greater ease in one's life. We will look at habitual patterns, belief systems and what is getting in the way of the goals and well being that is desired. Each person is unique and treated as such. Each person who meets with me as a client is viewed as an empowered part of the process of therapy.

My professional training and fifteen years of practice in clinical social work is informed by an interest in mindfulness based treatment. I find therapy most successful when there is a willingness to show up fully and take interest in the process. It is my experience that people grow and heal within the context of a trusting and clear therapeutic relationship with well defined boundaries and co created goals. You can expect to be treated with kindness, respect and a deep appreciation for what you bring. Gabrielle earned her degree at the Smith College School for Social Work in 1997.
